Elderly wheelchair-bound man killed in house fire
OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews said an elderly man has died in a house fire in northeast Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene near N.E. 20th St. and Bath where 84-year-old Llyod Brunson was trapped inside.
They were working to free the wheelchair-bound man but the burglar bars on the windows and doors prevented them from reaching him in time.
Authorities have not released the cause of the fire.
