Two victims in gang-related shooting
OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are searching for the gunman or gunmen involved in a gang shooting late Monday night.
Police raced to the Wilshire Village Apartments, near Wilshire and Lyrewood about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Officers initially found just one victim.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Then, 911 got a call about another victim, who was taken to a different hospital.
Police say the security guard at the complex saw someone run from the scene.
The guard chased the suspect, but lost him.
Police conducted a search of the area as well.
“We set up a perimeter and the k-9 unit and the air support unit came in and they searched the area. We haven’t turned up any suspects.” said Oklahoma City Police Lieutenant Isaac Goodman.
Police found one gun at the apartment complex, and believe there could have been another gun involved in the attack.
