Have family in this week? Here’s the best movie openings this weekend

NATIONWIDE — if you have family in town this weekend for the Christmas or New Years holidays, you may be wanting to plan an activity or two in lieu of cabin fever setting in sometime this Thursday evening.

Some new movie openings include “Django Unchained,” a new Quentin Tarantino filme with Jamie Foxx and a modern stage remake rendition of “Les Miserables” with Hugh Jackman. Also opening is “Promised Land” – a new Matt Damon movie that involves corporate salespeople entering a town to try and persuade residents to fork over lucrative drilling rights on their land.
