MOORE, OKLA. – Our In Your Corner reporter, Scott Hines was pulling snow patrol duty Tuesday.
He spent the afternoon in Moore and caught up with movie goers at the Warren Theater.
Not even a little ice and snow could keep hundred of Okies from a night out at the movies.
“This is Christmas,” one father said. “This is the only place open.”
Road conditions were less than ideal, but not impossible to navigate.
Some folks were looking for any excuse to ditch their extended family.
Others braved the wintry mix simply for the flick itself.
The Warren Theater’s parking lot was packed, but a manager told us Christmas attendance was slightly down this year due to the all the winter weather.
