One dead after seven car pileup on turnpike
VERDIGRIS, Okla.—A multi-car pileup on the Will Rogers Turnpike turns deadly in Rogers County.
Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a car hit the center barrier and came to a stop on the highway Friday night.
Six other vehicles and a semi-truck collided while trying to avoid the stopped car.
That crash tipped the semi over and forced other cars into a nearby ditch.
A woman from the car that was stopped on the highway got outside to check the vehicle.
That’s when a car careened into her, killing her on impact.
We’re told a 6-year-old boy was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
