David Stanley Chevrolet of Norman Senior High School Athlete of the Week – Heather McDaniel

Heather McDaniel is on the Mustang Varsity Volleyball Team in Mustang, Oklahoma. We want to recommend Heather as Athlete of the week because she is a Team Player, she has a Great Attitude and is always smiling and encouraging the others.

She does not get to play a lot, but she is always cheering and supporting the other players to do their best. She is very positive and has a great smile during the good and the bad of games. She is a 4.0 student and strives to do her best on and off the court. Her family is usually there to support her; however, her mom has been fighting cancer the past year and has had to miss the past few games because she is getting weekly treatments at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. With all that Heather is having to face, her inspiration to her family and friends is remarkable. Heather’s attitude is a great example for other teens.
