Search for suspect in string of OKC hold ups
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police are looking for a man they believe may be committing a string of metro robberies.
The most recent happened Wednesday around 8 p.m. at Jimmy John’s sandwich shop on N. May Ave.
Police said a white man wearing a gray hoodie walked in and held the store at gunpoint.
Officials said he made workers lie down on the floor in the backroom before he left the building.
They said he looks like the same suspect who robbed Chelino’s right across the street a couple of weeks ago.
The suspect took off running.
Police said they found the getaway car abandoned near Penn and Grand Ave.
Fortunately nobody was hurt.
