Subway riders bare all during annual event
NEW YORK—A group of subway riders created a challenge to keep a straight face while giving the world an eyeful.
Strange sights are common on the subways but people couldn’t help but stare at the thousands of riders who jumped on the subway without their pants Sunday.
The annual “No Pants Subway Ride” was held in New York City and organized by “Improv Everywhere.”
There are two rules to take part in the flash mob; ride the train without pants and keep a straight face.
Folks in Phoenix also bared their legs for the “No Pants, Light Rail Ride” event.
The annual event was launched in 2002 and has spread to more than 60 cities.
The prank’s founder called the ride a celebration of silliness and said its goal is simply to make others laugh and smile.
