DALLAS—If you were expecting to fly to Dallas today, you may want to double check your flight schedule.

Hundreds of flights are either cancelled or delayed out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport because of snow and ice moving through the state.

Crews were busy de-icing planes to try and keep things moving.

However, American Airlines alone was forced to cancel about 340 flights out of the airport today.

Dallas Fort Worth International officials say despite the cancellations, the airport remains open.
