Lawmakers back to work to discuss funding for Okla. projects
OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s back to work Tuesday for Oklahoma lawmakers.
House and senate appropriations committees will start meeting later this week to discuss state funding for a variety of requests.
It’s projected there will be around $170 million of additional revenues for lawmakers to allocate this year but the number will not be final until next month.
The State Secretary of Finance said state agencies have submitted requests totaling over $1 billion.
