Plane crash victims identified
MANGUM, Okla.—We are learning the names of the victims killed in a plane crash Saturday in Greer County.
Witnesses reported seeing the plane go down in a field about six miles northwest of the town of Mangum, around 5:30 p.m.
The “Beechcraft Baron” went down just west of State Hwy 34, killing everyone on board.
The three victims are 53-year-old Stephen Scott, 45-year-old John Hall and 20-year-old Edi Ortega.
Officials have not determined exactly what caused the plane to go down but witnesses say the aircraft appeared to be having engine trouble.
