Man shot in bicycle hold-up

OKLAHOMA CITY—Police are on the hunt for a pair of suspects who were desperate to steal a bicycle Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of S.E. 15th St. regarding a robbery and a shooting.

Authorities say a man on his bicycle was confronted by the suspects as he left an auto-shop on S.E. 15th St.

When he refused to hand over his bike, they shot him in the side.

Fortunately, the wound does not appear to be life-threatening.

No word yet on the victim’s name or a description of those suspects.
