15,000 crocodiles escape from farm
About 15,000 crocodiles have escaped from a South African farm after recent floods.
According to UPI.com, the creatures, some up to 16 feet long, got out of the Rakwena Crocodile Farm and crews have been trying to round them up since Sunday.
Staff at the farm said a few thousand of the reptiles have been recaptured but many are still on the loose.
The Telegraph reported the crocs escaped when the farm owner was forced to open the gates to keep the storm surge from destroying the property.
