Elderly man arrested for DUI, crashing into restaurant

A 70-year-old man is behind bars after a series of hit and runs in Georgia.

Police said while the crime itself was unusual, they never would have guessed where it ended.

Police said Michael Snider hit at least a dozen cars Wednesday night before slamming into the middle of a restaurant.

Fortunately, no one was hurt inside the building.

However, a chain reaction wreck claimed the life of a woman.

Authorities said he caused a crash that pinned a car under the bed of a tractor-trailer.

Snider is now being charged with driving under the influence, vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving and following too closely.
