Feeling blue? Fruits can help
We all know eating fruits and vegetables can make you healthy.
But did you know, researchers say if you’re feeling a little blue you may want to reach for an apple.
A study in New Zealand focused on how foods affected the mood of young adults who kept a food and feelings journal.
Experts said there was a link between positive mood and higher fruit and vegetable consumption but not with other foods.
Researchers said eating seven to eight servings of fruit or vegetables a day could make a noticeable improvement in your mood.
