DEL CITY, Okla. – As the white SUV raced through three Oklahoma communities, the news spread fast.

“A friend of mine text me and said there was a pursuit heading up Sunnylane,” Timothy Soli said.

But Soli didn’t know he would end up in the middle of that crime scene.

When one suspect bailed at the end of the chase, he was making his way to the parking lot of King Pawn where Soli works.

“I saw the officers get out their cars as the suspect was getting out of the SUV and he started running straight in my parking lot,” Soli said.

He even tried to make the path easy for officers.

Soli said, “They were trying to taser him as he was running and I was going left to try to force him to run into the truck that was parked there.”

But soon the suspect was stopped in his tracks and waved the white flag.

“All of a sudden he just gave up and went down and said, ‘I’m giving up, I’m giving up,’” Soli said.

The other two wound up on stretchers.

“Police win this one, bad guys zero, cops three,” he said. “It absolutely doesn’t pay to run from the law.”
