Semi plows into house killing homeowner inside

ALVA, Okla. – One man is dead and another is in the hospital after a semi driver lost control and slammed into an Alva home. 

Witnesses said it sounded like an explosion as the huge rock-hauling truck barreled into the home before coming to a stop half-way through, killing the homeowner.

The truck left behind a trail of destruction, taking out three power poles and demolishing a four-wheeler that had been chained to one of the poles, before plowing into the home.

The driver was also hurt and taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
