Fatal crash on Kilpatrick Tpk.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Authorities are investigating a fatal collision involving a pick-up truck and a semi tractor trailer.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol about 3:15 a.m. a speeding, black pick-up crashed into the back of a semi driving on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Broadway Extension.

The pick-up is destroyed.

The driver did not survive the impact.

The driver of the semi was uninjured.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.

They say speed appears to be a factor, considering the semi was only going about 55 miles per hour.
