SILICON VALLEY, Calif.—Apple is planting the seed for the next generation of iPad.

The company announced the fourth generation iPad will have a 128 GB storage capacity with retina display.

That is double the storage capacity of the current 64 GB models.

Experts say they wanted to make more room so customers can hold more photos, documents, music and apps on their device.

The increased memory is going to cost you.

The WiFi model is around $800 but the WiFi and cellular model has a price tag of more than $900.
