MWC man caught in child porn sting

MIDWEST CITY, Okla.—A Midwest City man is behind bars after being accused of sharing child pornography with a police officer.

Authorities say a Guthrie officer was online and asked 61-year-old Freddy Edwards about the pornography.

That’s when officials say Edwards allegedly shared pictures with the officer.

Wednesday morning, police rushed to his home with a search warrant.

Investigators say an on-scene preview of computer-related items revealed images of child pornography.

Edwards was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
