David Stanley Chevrolet of Norman High School Senior Athlete of the Week – Jentri Thompson

Jentri has been on the varsity soccer team for four years and the varsity basketball team for three years. During her freshman year she excelled in track running in the cross country events.

Jentri is a quiet person but plays with intensity on the soccer field and basketball court. She is praised by her coaches for her attitude and dedication to these sports.

Jentri is an outstanding student holding a 4.4 grade point average with honors classes. She is just as dedicated with her school work as she is her sports and is praised by her teachers. In addition, Jentri was a Girl’s State participant.

She can be found at Faith Family Church on Sundays and Wednesdays because she is active in youth church activities. She has been a participant in Chip Brim’s Champion for Christ youth camp for the last four years. She often helps with the nursery and children’s programs due to her dependable influence on younger children.

She is indeed a very deserving young woman and athlete for this recognition.
