China breaks record with horse sausage

TACHENG, CHINA – This dish isn’t for everyone but that didn’t stop it from making the record books.

This massive smoked sausage was made from horse ribs and intestines.

It reportedly measured just under a mile long and weighed over five tons.

It was coiled up in layers and placed on exhibition.

This type of sausage is typically served boiled and sliced with onion and seasonal vegetables.
