Shared Wi-Fi connection leads to child porn arrest
OKLAHOMA CITY – A shared Wi-Fi connection leads to an arrest for child pornography.
Jason cook, 38, is in the county jail after someone in his apartment complex alerted police to an alarming discovery.
According to a police report, Cook lives on the 1100 block of N. Barnes Ave. with three other tenants.
Recently, one of the residents discovered Cook had allegedly downloaded child pornography on a shared Wi-Fi network.
The witness quickly alerted the landlord who in turn called police.
Cook was arrested on one count of child porn possession.
