One city holds claim to top law enforcement officers

NORMAN, Okla.—The governor recently recognized 20 of the state’s top law enforcement officers and almost half are from Norman.

Gov. Mary Fallin recognized the best of the best earlier this month, including eight Norman police officers.

Those officers include MPO Jeremy Garnand, Sgt. Robert Wasoski, MPO Joshua Barker and Sgt. Shon Elroy.

Other Norman officers who also made the list include Sgt. William Crews, Lt. Brent Barbour, Lt. Eric Lehenbauer and Chris Amason.
