Once firefighters arrived on scene, the home exploded.

WHNT’s Jeff Gray was on scene and caught the explosion on camera.

Fire crews said an oxygen tank is what caused the fireball.

Three firefighters were knocked to the ground and two of them were seen crawling away from the home.

A fire marshal on scene said the homeowner was cooking when a grease fire erupted in the kitchen.

The fire spread quickly but the family of six were able to make it out safely.
