Child killed in drunk driving crash
DURANT, Okla.—One child is dead and another is in the hospital Monday after a tragic accident Sunday night.
Police say 28-year-old Clyde Raul had too much to drink and was speeding excessively on a county road.
He had five children, all under the age of 15, and one adult inside the vehicle.
We’re told he was heading westbound when he lost control of the car.
The vehicle hit a fence and a tree before rolling and coming to a stop.
Raul and all six passengers were ejected from the car since no one was wearing a seat belt.
An 11-year-old boy died at the scene from massive head injuries.
Officials say a 14-year-old girl and a 33-year-old passenger are both in critical condition.
