OKLAHOMA CITY – So far Wednesday, EMSA has responded to 10 calls from people who have fallen, seven of those people had to go to the hospital.
They said they have taken one person to the hospital for exposure.
They have been on the scene of six car wrecks so far, one person was taken to the hospital.
EMSA officials are asking residents to take extra care when going outside.
They strongly suggest taking a cell phone with you and bundling up even if you are only planning to be outside for a moment.
Authorities said that is how many people get into trouble; they fall outside and aren’t prepared for the weather.
