Crews investigate fire at rural Luther home

LUTHER, Okla. – Crews are working to find out what started a house fire near Luther Friday afternoon.

Authorities said the family was trying to put out the flames with a garden hose when they arrived at the home near N. Luther Rd. and E. Coffee Creek Rd.

Fire crews said they had a hard time reaching the home and getting the amount of water needed because the home is in such a rural area.

No serious injuries were reported.
