Man hailed as hero for helping in helicopter crash

Hailed a hero, David Rogers was on his way to work when he witnessed the Eagle Med helicopter falling from the sky.

The aircraft had just left Integris Baptist Medical Center and was headed to Watonga to pick up a patient when it went down.

The crash killed both nurse Chris Denning and pilot Marc Montgomery.

A third victim, medic Billy Wynne survived,  thanks in part to the heroic actions of this man, David Rogers.
