It was a long awaited trip to a big Nascar race and this past weekend two Oklahoma racing fans found themselves very close to a very dangerous crash at a Daytona race.

They were sitting just 50 feet away from that crash that sent an engine slicing through the crash fence, right into the crowd.

Some fans were critically injured.

Coworkers at a Yukon auto shop, Ryan Browne and Allen Chambers, witnessed the event.

They talked with us about a trip they won’t soon forget.
