Dancer takes down ax-wielding suspect
PHOENIX, Ariz.—A go-go dancer in Arizona is being called a hero after his actions in the club saved a few patrons from an ax-wielding suspect.
Authorities say the 40-year-old suspect had been at the bar earlier in the night.
Witnesses say he began arguing with his wife before leaving the club.
However, he returned and started drinking.
According to court documents, he became angry after the bartender told him he had drank too much and would not be allowed to order any more drinks.
He allegedly went to his car and grabbed an ax.
That’s when a dancer, who goes by the name “Pretti Boi,” stepped in.
He jumped on the suspect when the man began swinging the ax and threatening patrons and employees.
Officials say he and other workers pinned the man until police arrived.
