Enid man dies from generator fumes
ENID, Okla.—Another death is being blamed on the strong winter storm that hit western Oklahoma early this week.
Enid police say a 69-year-old man died after trying to run his generator in the garage.
Officers think the fumes may have been too much for the unventilated area.
The man’s home, like many others in the area, had been without power for a few days after the storm.
Utility crews continue to work on restoring power this afternoon.
