‘One Day at a Time’ star dies at 69
HOLLYWOOD—A famous television star will be laid to rest next week.
Bonnie Franklin, who is best known for her part in “One Day at a Time,” passed away Friday.
She had been suffering from pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed in September.
It was her role as a divorced single mother to co-stars Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips that catapulted her to fame.
Franklin was 69-years-old.
