Kenyans vote in historic election
KENYA—Citizens in Kenya started lining up as early as 4 a.m. Monday to cast their ballot in the presidential election.
The nationwide election is seen as the country’s most important and complicated in its 50 year history.
The election comes five years after more than 1,000 people were killed in election-related violence.
Multiple attacks against security forces in Kenya have killed at least 12 people Monday.
Sunday, police issued numerous alerts and overnight at least four police officers were killed in an election-related incident.
