Meeting postponed after deadly accident
OKLAHOMA CITY—While family and friends mourn the loss of two teenagers, a local school district is paying its respect by postponing a town hall meeting.
Officials say 17-year-old Dajia La Nae Brown and 17-year-old Carla Duenez were killed in a car accident Friday morning in Payne County.
Originally, a town hall meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. inside the Classen School of Advanced Studies.
After accident, the Oklahoma City Public School District has decided to postpone the meeting for funeral services.
Once a new date and time is selected for the meeting, the district will begin to notify parents.
