Bin Laden’s son-in-law in court
NEW YORK—Osama Bin Laden’s son-in-law, who also serves as the spokesman for Al Qaeda, pleaded not guilty to conspiring to kill Americans.
Sulaiman Abu Ghaith entered the plea in federal court through his attorney.
Federal agents took Abu Ghaith into custody in Jordan last week.
No bail was requested or set Friday.
The judge will schedule a trial date at the next conference in the case, scheduled for April 8.
Prosecutors say he has made an extensive statement since his arrest.
