Bumbling beaver escorted to safety

OREGON CITY, Ore.—It took a little time and coaxing but police in Oregon are credited with saving a bumbling beaver.

Late Thursday night, the furry fugitive was spotted crossing a busy street.

Herding beavers is not an easy task.

It took about 40 minutes and several officers but they eventually returned the rodent to the wild.
