Okla. deacon in Rome tells us about papal election

After much anticipation, the start of the conclave to elect the new pope will begin Tuesday.

The Cardinals voted on when to start the papal election.

Once the voting begins, the question immediately becomes, how long will the conclave last?

Among the Catholic faithful in Rome for this potentially once-in-a-lifetime event is Deacon Brian Bitner, a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.

He talked with us about the events, his time in Rome and the papal election.

You can read more on his adventures in the Vatican City on his blog here.
