IYC Update: Crooked contractor learns fate
GUTHRIE, OKLA. – Our In Your Corner team helps put a shady Oklahoma contractor behind bars.
Last year we were the first to warn you about Perry Epley after customers came forward with complaints against the contractor.
Homeowners, like Michelle McKnight, say he took them to the cleaners.
“He is robbing people,” she said. “It’s no different than walking up to the house, breaking in the door and stealing from somebody.”
Where Epley’s headed now, he won’t be able to steal from anyone else anytime soon.
Friday, he pleaded guilty to crimes in Logan County.
A judge slapped him with a 20 year sentence, five in, 15 out with good behavior.
Plus the convicted felon must do 100 hours of community service and pay restitution to some of his victims, including McKnight.
We’ll let you know if anything else happens with the case.
