COVINGTON, Ky. – Everyone knows you can't yell “fire” in a crowded theatre.
Now one man has learned the hard way that “bingo” is a loaded word as well.
A judge has banned Austyn Whaley of Kentucky from saying the “b-word” for a while.
The consequences could be another arrest.
Officials said Whaley was walking by a bingo hall recently when he decided to go inside and shouted “bingo!”
He was arrested by an officer in the bingo hall for causing "alarm to patrons."
On top of the "disorderly conduct" citation, his family has changed his dog-walking route so that he won't be tempted to re-enter the bingo hall.
