Traffic changes coming to downtown OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY – Changes are coming to the flow of traffic in downtown Oklahoma City.
Walker between Reno and Kerr will convert from four lanes to two lanes Friday.
You might remember this street was changed to two-way traffic back in January.
It now includes dedicated bike lanes and on-street parking.
The bicycle lane is a designated traffic lane for bicyclists.
It’s marked with a solid white line and a bicycle emblem with an arrow.
This might be a little confusing at first so make sure you pay attention when driving along Walker.
A right turning car should move into the bike lane before the intersection.
Also, be sure to check for those cyclists while navigating the area.
