PAWHUSKA, Okla. – This Easter weekend it’s appropriate to say hello to a spring baby.
This is the first baby bison of 2013 born on Oklahoma’s Tall Grass Prairie Preserve near Pawhuska.
This calf won’t be lonely for long.
The preserve staff said they expect another 600 to 700 bison babies this year.
Spring is one of the best times to visit the preserve, but with jealous mother buffaloes, it’s always a good idea to stay in your car.
