Dental Board wants Tulsa dentist criminally charged
TULSA, Okla. – Testing continues on patients of a Tulsa dentist who may have been exposed to HIV or hepatitis C.
About 7,000 Oklahomans are potentially at risk due to unsanitary practices at the office of Dr. W. Scott Harrington.
Meanwhile, the head of Oklahoma’s dental board wants prosecutors to pursue criminal charges against Harrington.
The state dental association is urging other dentists to follow Centers for Disease Control precautions.
Patients are also encouraged to talk with their dentist about infection control.
