MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol found an unconscious man laying on the side of the interstate near I-40 and South Douglas Boulevard.
Authorities found the man's truck nearby crashed in a ditch.
Troopers say the man had injuries to his legs and was immediately taken to the hospital.
According to the OHP the man was driving eastbound on I-40 when he lost control of his truck, rolled off the roadway and partially up a hill coming to a stop in the mud.
Officials cannot confirm whether or not he was ejected or if he crawled out of the vehicle toward the interstate.
Troopers said they could smell alcohol from the cab of the truck, but they will not confirm if alcohol played a role in the crash.
