Will Louisville Sweep NCAA Crowns?
New Orleans, LA - The Louisville women’s basketball team can match the men’s team if the Lady Cardinals win the NCAA championship game tonight against the Connecticut Huskies. Louisville (29-8) advanced through the sub-regional here in Oklahoma City to get to the “Final Four” against Cal-Berkeley.
With the nice rally against the Lady Bears, Louisville now must face a Connecticut team (34-4) trying to win it’s 8th national title, which would tie UConn with Tennessee for the most national championships in Division I women’s college basketball history.
The Louisville-Connecticut women’s national title tilt is set to tip-off at 6:30pm at the New Orleans Arena in Louisiana and on national TV.
