Elephant victim of drive-by shooting
TUPELO, Miss. – An elephant was the victim of a drive-by shooting.
Carol, a 7,000-pound pachyderm with the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, was shot in the neck.
She and two other Asian elephants were inside a covered tent during the drive-by.
She is now recovering.
The search for the shooter continues.
