FOUND: Missing Grove infant found, Amber Alert canceled
GROVE, Okla. – The infant missing from Delaware County has been found and is in protective custody Friday.
Officials have canceled the Amber Alert for the 8-month-old baby girl.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, officers went to the family’s home to take custody of the child when they said the parents left with the girl.
Police were looking for the parents, 23-year-old Ronald Altaffer and 22-year-old China Altaffer.
They were looking for a tan 2003 Chevy pick-up truck with an Oklahoma license plate, 474-HDL.
They said they thought the Altaffers were driving to Kansas.
Police said the baby girl could be suffering from malnutrition.
