South OKC bank robbery suspects in custody

OKLAHOMA CITY - The lockdown has been lifted at the south Oklahoma City schools that were taking extra precautions while authorities searched for suspects in a bank robbery Friday morning.

Tierney Tinnin with Oklahoma City Public Schools said Prairie Queen Elementary, Southern Hills Elementary, Jefferson Middle and Parmelee Elementary were locked down.

Authorities said a couple of men robbed a Midfirst Bank near I-240 and Western.

Officials said they are looking for two or three suspects in a black Chevy Malibu.

Police said they found money and a ski mask in a field and are searching for the suspects in an apartment complex near I-240 and Western.
