Mountaineers take series from Sooners
Oklahoma’s baseball team dropped the finale of a three-game series at West Virginia, losing 9-to-6 in Charleston, West Virginia. The Mountaineers scored five runs in the 2nd inning to take control of the game. OU’s Jack Mayfield went 5-for-5 with three runs batted in in the defeat.
Oklahoma drops to 11-and-7 in conference play, and is now tied for first place with both West Virginia and Kansas State. Oklahoma is next in action on Friday in the first of three bedlam games against Oklahoma State.
