Barons catch the Stars in Game 1

The Oklahoma City Barons took Game 1 of the American Hockey League’s Western Conference semifinals, getting a goal from Anton Lander 1:28 into overtime to beat the Texas Stars 2-1 in the series opener.

Mark Arcobello scored the first Barons goal in the first period, before Texas tied it up in the second period. Barons goalie Yann Danis made 34 saves in the win. The series continues with Game 2 Saturday night in Cedar Park, TX.
